In the memory of Sep. 11th 2001, I just want write my words as a
message to the president of the United States Mr. Barrack Obama. A simple
message on my blog although I'm not a fluently writer of English but I have to
try to write in English to pass my point of view, my thoughts and say what I
believe. It's very important to me to talk about that and about other topics
here in my journal space.
In the tenth memory of 9/11 I would like to say
"Sorry for Your Lost" to those people whom lost their beloved ones in that
horrible attack then I want say to them: Who will say "Sorry for your lost" to
us about Our Victims whom died by American Army in Guantanamo, Afghanistan,Iraq
since 2001 until now?" that's a question needs an answer from all of you. After
that question, I turn my speech to the president of the United States Mr Obama
to say:
Dear Mr. President
You didn't keep your promise that you told
when you were running for your presidential campaign in 2008. Mr. President, you
didn't give Gwantanamo prisoners justice trail, you didn't shut down Gwantanamo
Pay Prison, and you didn't bring the American army from Afghanistan and Iraq.
besides, you created your own war when you let your air force attack Libya by
the name of human rights and under the name of NATO
You are just
following the ex president of your countries path -George W. Bush- when he
attacked Afghanistan & Iraq by the name of "war Against Terrorism". We all
know how President George Bush Jr. made up that war just to dfence America's ego
and how he started this cycle tragedy and big shame on human-history which still
happening since October 2001 'till now. He started this injustice war to kill
civilians including women and children and destroy other independent governments
like Afganistan and Iraq to make it nothing. Your country's ex president started
un-justice pointless war to attack Iraq with having no evidence of nuclear exist
inside it and after all these years no one can dare to face him or trail him for
what he did or for that big mistake and for wrong decisions that he took
No one
dares
Dear Mr. President,
If I back to the main topic to talk about
September 11th 2001, I believe that what happened on that day was a crime
because a lot of innocent civilians died. It was not right what Alqa'edah did,
but that doesn't give you justification to keep killing muslims around the world
specially specially in Iraq and Afghanistan. To keep arresting innocents or
humiliating them or even treating them as suspicious wherever they are just
because they are Muslims. It aint give you any justification to keep killing or
torturing every Muslim individual wether they're in the U.S. or in Guantnamo pay
prison or even in other countries around the world
In my own opinion, I see
your government still taking revenge from civilians in Afghanistan and in Iraq
such as women and children since that year 2001 until now by the name of War
Against Terrorism.
Ten years left and American army still kills those people
in their countries and pretend that they are fighting "militias" Although
international press shows that they are not army militias but just civilians.
Thousands of people dead in sep. 11th 2001 because of Al-Qaidah Attack, and
since that date the United States government and many other Europian governments
found a big reason to kill, assassinate, humiliate, arrest, and even torture
only Muslims by the name of national security or "Fighting Terrorism". A lot of
times you -western leaders- wether politicians or war leaders make huge
mistakes, make alot of injustice decisions but you never ever apologize or try
to make it up. Ten years left after 9/11, and look what your country force did
and still doing in Afghanistan and in Iraq
Dear Mr. President
Think about how
many massacre that your government army did and still doing in those countries
which you occupies it illegally (Afghanistan since 2001)+(Iraq,since 2003)
because you didn't keep your promise as a congress man and then as a
presidential candidate to bring them back if you win the election
Dear Mr.
Obama
If America lost 30,000 people as maximum percentage in 9/11, The
United States army killed in Afghanistan and Iraq more than that number or maybe
hundreds of thousands or even a million, and they still killing people there on
every single day and you just watch it,ignore it,and do nothing. No one dares
-even the United Nations- to end all these massacres in Guantnamo, Iraq and
Afghanistan, no one dares to trail those criminals until this present date, so
I'm wondering if your citizens are better than ours?!. Wondering if your dead
people are more precious than ours in everywhere. I'm wondering if your lost is
better than our lost, and if you'll stop these crimes or not. I'm wondering when
will you have enough and then will stop killing, assassinating, toturing,
arresting treating my people -Muslims and Arabs- as criminals and suspectious
without evidence under the name of "Secret Evidence" or "Terrorism".
You
didn't keep your promises Mr. President and that is a big disappointment. It's verry
shameful. As ordinary people, we sometimes lie, ignore something we care about,
fail or may don't keep our promises in some circumstances, but in the end we are
just ordinary people, and our mistakes are away from spotlight. our faults don't
leave a huge effects on people lives. Mr. President, our mistakes don't make up
wars or kill civilians but yours do
Yours are different because you're a
leader, A rule model of millions of citizens, so every single decision counts on you as
life or death one. You failed Mr. President when you broke your promises. You
didn't close guantnamo pay prison, you didn't bring the U.S army from
Afghanistan and Iraq, and you didn't stop the war that George Bush started. It
seems you made a lot of your supporters and lovers disappointed. Its a dark page
on your political turn. History will always print when men lost their words. History will tell when men walk away from
their commitment. History will tell what you did and what you didn't to the next
generations
Dear Mr. Obama
You used to say: "Yes We Can" in your
presidential campaign and I wonder today where's that commitment?. Where
s that charming Slogan?. It seems
political leaders lose their humanity, their greatness, their passion, and their attentions as
soon as they accomplished their goals, as soon as they reach the power. Its like they throw their promises away and lose
their humanity from the moment they reach their positions when they win the
election campaigns. I see America is a great country and the system is still
great in many ways if we compare to the other countries, but it still needs to
practice the real liberty and the real democracy which you call for all the time
and market it to others all over the world
Mr. President
I am not the
enemy, and being a Muslim doesn't make me a criminal. Also
wearing the Palestinian scarf or showing solidarity with The Palestinian cause
doesn't make me suspicious person. You -Americans- always claim that you're The
Home of Democracy, Freedom of Speech. You always call for it. Actually you
always command the third world governments to follow the democracy and freedom
of speech, but actually you define them just the way you want it and the way you guys like it to be and that's
absolutely not right
There is actually a story that happened to me in person about
that point. When I landed the United States few months ago, took my flight from Yemen, and it
was the first time I'm coming to the United States. I was wearing the
Palestinian scarf -the Palestinian Emama- which I used to put on to show my solidarity with Palestinians,
and also there was one of my Arabic books in my baggage call
" مفهوم معادات السامية
which means in English "The Concept of Anti-Semitism". I still remember on that day, the day that I arrived to the Twin Cities Airport/MN, one of the U.S board officers at the Airport treated me as suspicious. He
was trying to be nice, but he was not . The funny thing is that he might thought I'm a terrorist
girl comes from the Arab world, that part of the world which they name: "The
Middle East". He kept telling me that if someone forced me to wear the Hejab to
cover my head I'm in America now, so I can take it off, and I was assuring him that my head cover, my hijab is totally coming from my own decision and I chose with my free will. I remember, That Officer also kept asking me a
lot of questions about that book because the cover of the book pictured the flag
of Israel -The Star of David-, so he kept asking me if I can tell him about the
topic of the book, the main Idea of the author, and I told him that I didn't
read it yet.
I remember how his face showed worry after they saw that book
when they were checking up my baggage
I think that custom officer judged
me. He may thought I'm dangerous because I came from Yemen, was putting Hejab on
my head, putting the Palestinian scarf on my shoulders, and there was
Anti-Semitism define book in my luggage, so he considered all that as evidences.
It was not funny to me either that The U.S national security visited me and has
a conversation with me just because I was holding Palestinian sign scarf and
that book was in my books baggage when I came to this new country, They always
sing that America is home of democracy and freedom of speech but in some how I
believe that's a big lie and huge propaganda because in my opinion, The United
States is great environment for a lot of positive things in an individual's
life. On the other hand, there are a lot of discrimination in this country
Although the constitution of the United States notes that it's against racism or
discrimination but the reality shows difference
Dear Mr. the president,
You
entered the history as the first African American president of the United
States. I remember that night when you won the election, Although I was living
in my country -Yemen- I remember how much I was praying for you. I remember how
I couldn't sleep enough all the presidential campaign although I'm not an
American- until I knew the results so I kept watch all night 'till the next
morning -in Yemen time- when I saw that you and Joe Biden won, Oh GOD, I still
remember how much joyful I felt, how much victory I felt and it was like history
gave us a big hug. I still remember how much I was happy for you Mr. president
but when you took your possession you unfortunately forget some of your most
important promises about the U.S international affairs, ans we all around the
world watch your decisions about foreign affairs become worst day after day. I
always look at your eyes and see nothing left of the passion that I used to see
inside, It has been gone. People around the world were expecting a real change
from you Mr President because that was what you showed them. They though you
were different but the fact is you are not
Dear Mr. President
I admired you as a congress man
more than a president. In that time, you were a rule model who stands with human
rights side and calls for justice for those people who need it, but now you
stand only the Israeli side and show them how much you're committed with them.
You commanded to your special force the American air force with the CIA to
assassinate Osama Bin Laden in very mysterious way in Pakistan and after the
mission was done you never share the pictures you were watching with whole
world. You decided never show the whole world his dead body because you already
know how your special force assassinated him and how they distorted the features
of his face that make it lost, so you hide that type which shows how you did the
mission from the media -Press-. It was illegal, disgusting and against humanity
to see that a state government like yours attacks one person at middle of the
night in his own house with his wife and maybe kids, and then to don't let his
body have a grave as human being but instead of that throw his dead body to the
ocean!!!!. That was absolutely an evil crime, an ugly revenge, and a true terrorism
After
all, I wonder if America is a Great State or a Terrorist State?. I wonder if
wise Americans still love you or not anymore after what you did and what you did
not?. I wonder if they will vote for you again for another turn in the next
presidential election in 2012-2016. Would Americans choose you again Mr. The
President after they saw how you led your country and what were your decisions
that you made in your first turn. We will see that in the next few years GOD
Willing.
